Requests are sent to the Kit API at api.kit.com. **When data is sent:** when you connect your API key, when your forms and custom fields load in the form editor, and when a visitor submits a form you’ve configured with ClickSyncr — at which point their form data (email and any mapped fields) is sent to Kit. **What is sent:** your Kit API key (to authenticate), the subscriber’s email address and any fields you choose to map, and the Kit form you select. Log in to your WordPress dashboard. 2. Go to Plugins > Add New. 3. Search for “ClickSyncr for Kit”. 4. Click **Install Now**, then **Activate**. #### Manual installation 1. Download the plugin ZIP file. 2. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. 3. Choose the ZIP file and click **Install Now**. 4. Activate the plugin. #### After installation 1. Make sure Contact Form 7 is installed and activated. 2. Edit any Contact Form 7 form and open the **ClickSyncr Kit** tab. 3. Edit a Contact Form 7 form, open the ClickSyncr Kit tab, enter a Kit v4 API key, choose a Kit form, and map the form’s email and subscriber fields. Save the form and submit a test entry to confirm the subscriber is created or updated. ### Does this Contact Form 7 integration work with ConvertKit? Yes. ConvertKit is now named Kit. ClickSyncr uses the current Kit v4 API and works with your existing ConvertKit or Kit account. ### Can Contact Form 7 add subscribers to a Kit form? Yes. ClickSyncr sends submissions from each configured Contact Form 7 form to the Kit form selected in that form’s settings. ### Which fields can I map? You can map the required email field, first name, and any custom field you’ve created in your Kit account — ClickSyncr loads your Kit custom fields automatically. ### Do I need a Kit account? Yes. Log in to Kit, open your account settings, go to the **Developer** (API Keys) section, and create a **v4 API key**. ### What happens if Kit is unreachable? Your form still sends its normal Contact Form 7 email — ClickSyncr never blocks your forms. ClickSyncr does not queue or retry a failed sync; because Kit matches subscribers by email, the next submission from the same address updates the subscriber. ### Can I use different settings for different forms? Yes.
