We will do our best to provide support through the WordPress forums. However, please understand that this is a free plugin,
so support will be limited. Please read this article on how to properly ask for WordPress support and get it.

If you require one to one email support, please consider upgrading to the Pro version.

We connect directly to your Hootsuite ( account, via their API, to:
– Fetch your social media profile names and IDs,
– Send your WordPress Posts to one or more of your social media profiles. The profiles and content sent will depend on the plugin settings you have configured.

We connect to our own API to pass the following requests through to Hootsuite:
– Connect our Plugin to Hootsuite, when you click the Authorize button (this obtains an access token from Hootsuite, once you have approved authorization)
– Process image uploads to the API, which is required by Hootsuite when sharing an image as part of a social media update.

Both of these are done via our own API, to ensure that no secret data (such as oAuth client secret keys) are included in this Plugin’s code or made public.

We never store any information on our web site or API during this process.

I struggled for months to find a good social media auto-posting plugin, No such features for free, until I found WordPress to Hootsuite plugin, it’s the best free tool to automatically share your Wordpress posts to your social accounts.
മാർച്ച്‌ 21, 2022
This plugin posts my WordPress updates automatically on social media platform connected to my HootSuite account. Also, I find this plugin easily customizable as to what content should be posted on the social media accounts.
ഫെബ്രുവരി 11, 2022
The documentation doesn’t explain any of the features. It just repeats the names of the buttons and menu options. so it’s useless. I emailed for support after purchasing the paid version and working with it for a while. I asked a very specific question about one particular function. The owner replied. I guess having to be the support guy for the plugin’s users has gotten to him because from his first message he was condescending and rude. He basically pretended he didn’t understand my question so he wouldn’t have to deal with it, and requested a screenshot, which was not relevant since it was a simple “how to” question so there was nothing to screenshot. I told him that I would figure out the issue myself and that, because he was so nasty, I was not going to renew my subscription when it expired (which was not for quite a while) and he summarily cancelled me without confirming I wanted to cancel at that time! (I wanted time to research other plugins; and since I’d already invested a lot of time in this one, I intended to use it until I found another one.) So the time I already invested was completely wasted because of his spitefulness. I suggest the owner hire a support team if he doesn’t have time or patience to handle the responsibility of supporting his plugin. To the potential plugin user, I suggest finding a plugin that is not “supported” by this ugly little man.

This plugin is working well for us so far. It has maintained the connection with Hootsuite and posts are going out as expected. Thanks!
