FAQ

Can each slide have its own button?

Yes. Each slide has its own optional title text and call-to-action button, each with independent styling.

Does it support RTL languages?

Yes, the slider automatically switches direction based on your site’s language settings.

Does the plugin load anything from an external CDN?

No. The Swiper library is bundled with the plugin and served from your own site.

What languages are included, and how do I add another?

The plugin is fully translation-ready. Once published on WordPress.org, translations are contributed and maintained through translate.wordpress.org and are downloaded and loaded automatically by WordPress – no files to install manually and nothing to configure.

Changelog

1.0.9

  • Removed the “Plugin Language” setting – with no bundled translation files, it had no visible effect until a translation is contributed via translate.wordpress.org, so it was just confusing to show it now.

1.0.8

  • Fixed bugs

1.0.7

1.0.6

  • Slide/button link fields no longer force a strict URL format that silently blocked saving when a scheme like https:// wasn’t typed.
  • Forced text-decoration: none on the slide button’s hover/focus state so it can no longer pick up an underline from theme styles.
  • Removed a step constraint on the autoplay speed field that could silently block the whole settings form from saving.
  • Text padding fields now start empty (instead of 0) so their directional placeholders (top/right/bottom/left) are visible until a value is entered.

1.0.5

  • Fixed the full-width layout showing only half the slider on mobile (a leftover left/right offset was never reset at the mobile breakpoint).
  • The slide button no longer requires a link to be set before it will display; it was silently disappearing if only the button text was filled in.
