FAQ
-
Does detected branding change my login screen automatically?
-
No. Detected branding is shown as a suggestion. Your login screen changes only after you click Apply to login screen, or after you make changes in the Customizer and publish them.
-
Which branding sources are supported?
-
DP Websolutions – Login Branding supports Astra Theme Colors, Divi Theme Colors, WordPress Global Styles in block themes, and Elementor Global Colors. Theme and builder sources are detected independently.
-
Why are some values not detected?
-
Themes and builders store branding in different ways, and not every provider defines every style. The plugin only shows values it can identify safely. Missing values are not guessed and can still be configured manually in the Customizer.
-
Will the login screen update automatically when theme or builder styles change?
-
No. Apply to login screen and Customizer Publish copy static snapshots into plugin-owned login settings. Later provider changes do not automatically affect the login screen. Apply or Publish again to copy updated values.
-
Does the plugin modify my theme or builder settings?
-
No. The plugin only reads supported branding values as suggestions. Apply and Publish save plugin-owned login screen settings and do not modify your theme, builder, Global Styles, media library or site logo.
-
How are detected background images applied?
-
When safely available, image size, position, repeat and attachment settings are copied together with the detected background image. These values are saved as a static snapshot and do not remain synchronized with the theme or builder.
-
What happens if my theme or builder is not supported?
-
Unsupported themes and builders can still use the manual Customizer controls. The plugin does not guess or automatically apply unsupported provider values.
-
Is Keep in Sync available?
-
No. Keep in Sync is not available in the 2.x releases. Detected branding is reviewed first and applied only when you choose to apply it.
-
What does Reset login branding do?
-
Reset only resets plugin-owned login design settings. It does not change your theme, site logo, builder settings, media library, Elementor data, Astra settings, Divi settings or WordPress Global Styles.
-
Do child themes work?
-
Child themes may work when the supported parent theme or branding source is detectable. If automatic detection is not available, you can still set the login branding manually in the Customizer.
